Change the term ‘homeless people’ to ‘people experiencing homelessness’.
Referring to people as ‘homless’ or ‘rough sleeper’ devalues the person & labels them. Using the term ‘people experiencing homelessness’ puts the emphasis on the person, rather than the label of homelessness. Therefore, the person experiencing homelessness is shown a greater level of value & worth
