Companies write 100s of pages of Terms and Conditions for every product/service they provide. Consumers don't read them. 7% read them. e.g. Amazon's Kindle T's & C's are 73,198 words long. Consumers don't know what they are accepting. A short summary of the main factors should be made clear.

If it was your job to read privacy policies for 8 hours per day, it would take you 76 work days to complete the task. Nationalized, that's 53.8 BILLION HOURS of time required to read privacy policies.
