Stop subsidising politicians food and drink.
I was watching a program the other night that pointed out that the UK tax payer subsidises politicians food and drink within the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
This costs the tax payer somewhere in the region of 3.7 million pounds per year.
I beleive that this money should be put to better use split between the NHS and the police force.
Doctors, nurses, police officers all pay for their own food and they do much more dangerous and physical work why should they have to pay for their own food while we and they are paying for politicians on much higher wages to sit and talk all day ?
Let’s have this stopped and put the money where it will do more good.
