Turn the National Lottery into a UK publicly owned entity - NHS, Police & Fire.
The National Lottery has been in the hands of foreign investors since 2010 - at the benefit of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and to the detriment of indigenous interests. Such as the NHS, Police, Fire Service & Veteran's trusts. A publicly owned lottery would support our public services.
25 March 2010 - Camelot is sold for £389m to Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8588321.stm).
Gross annual sales circa 2016/17 ~£7 billion - masked by "acts of good" to avoid scrutiny (http://www.camelotgroup.co.uk/assets/Uploads/Camelot-Q2-Sales-Briefing-201718.pdf)
Since the £2 per ticket rise, the odds of winning has lowered to 1 in every 49million tickets - evidence, mathemamatics. The NHS, Police & Fire would all benefit from a shared ownership.
