Make parking in parent and child spaces without a child a ticketable offence
As most parents of a small child it infuriates me when you're looking for a parent and child parking space and discover that they're are taken up by people with no children.
The spaces aren't needed due to their proximity to the the shop, they provide much needed space for parents to get their children out of the car and into a pram.
Supermarket have no power over this as the restrictions on disabled parking doesn't apply to Parent and child spaces and this causes the abuse of such spaces. I have been verbally abused when challenging people (in one instance a man told me to F off. He had a dog in his car and claimed that we as good as having a child).

This would be the responsibility of car park operators and local councils, not the UK Government or Parliament.
