Give adoption allowance to self employed people
If you are employed and pregnant you are entitled to maternity pay.
If you are employed and adopting a child you are entitled to adoption pay.
If you are self employed and pregnant you are entitled to maternity allowance.
If you are self employed and adopting a child you are entitled to NOTHING!!
Please support people who are self employed and are wanting to provide a loving and stable home for a child in need.
The financial situation is very important in the adoption process as you need to be able to provide for a child emotionally and financially, no adoption allowance can stand in the way of prospective adoptive parents being approved.
