Physical defects should be prioritised over transgender surgery(FTM) Prosthetics
People struggle throughout their lives with physical defects they were born with. However, the NHS do not pay for their prosthetics. Then why is it that transgender Female to Males get prosthetic penises for free of the NHS?
This needs to change.
Many less priveledged people across the country struggle with their physical defects throughout their daily lives. This is not okay.
It cost approximately £8000 for a prosthetic hand and a prosthetic foot cost approximately £4000 but the NHS does not pay for it. Then why is it the NHS fork out over £8000 for a prosthetic penis for gender surgery?
This needs to change.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The NHS does offer prosthetics for people who have lost limbs, so we're not sure what action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
