Petition Action

parliament to legislate to provide an integration contract for all immigrants.

Petition Details

focus on integration as an individual process whereby the new migrant is responsible for his success in the host society and should not be a burden on the welfare state. They should be responsible for learning the language and abide by our laws and culture.

Additional Information

It would help integration and assimilation and prevent enclaves where immigrants fail to learn English and continue practices which are incompatible with British law and our culture. This would enable the migrant to contribute to our communities and not be too dependent

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure what you mean by "integration contract".

In any case, people in the UK are already required to abide by British law.
