Petition Action

written constitution and bill of rights and plain wording of laws

Additional Information

Calls on the Government to introduce a written constitution and a bill of rights to ensure every citizen is treated equally in the eyes of the law regardless of wealth. Every citizen should be entitled to the protection of the law a written constitution and bill of rights would be a base for this. And to remove the gobbledygook that is current practice in legislation that ensures those from more deprived backgrounds are unlikely to understand the law. Laws must be made in plain language so all individuals have an understanding as to what it means.
