Remove wasteful "copper" coins from circulation.

Additional Information

People are increasingly moving towards cashless transactions. The large sized and low denominated "copper" coins in circulation should be removed and the metal recycled thereby also reducing the burden on mining.
The 5 pence coin would then become the lowest legal tender coin in the UK.
