The BBC/Sky to cover and report on public protests in Downing Street.

Petition Details

The BBC is publicly funded and we deserve to know what's going on with regards to protests. News outlets have a political agenda which hides this this from them as if it's not important.

Additional Information

There was a protest yesterday regarding the NHS and it was not reported on. This has got to stop, people have a right to know.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of the UK Government and Parliament and there is no provision for them to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
