Build a statue outside of the Meir Primary Care Centre.
Before this health care centre was constructed, there stood a magnificent pub called the King's Arms. It had so much history with it, including pilots during the Second World War going to there. It was so important to so many people and the least that we can do is build a statue in its honour.
The pub was built in 1935 and was knocked down in 2008. However similar pubs stood there previously, miners and other workers often went there after work to socialise and have a chat.
