Stop the introduction of accountable care organisations in the UK.
In April 2018, Jeremy Hunt aims to establish the first accountable care organisations (ACOs). ACOs will hold multibillion-pound budgets to deliver combined health & social care for large geographical areas.
ACOs will be non-NHS entities.
The NHS was created as a public service & must remain so
Margaret Greenwood has already raised the issue of increased scrutiny on ACOs in parliament and the lack of time for this scrutiny but given the current state of the NHS we must not allow the government to sell it off.
