Petition Details

The new 5 and 10 pound notes distributed contain animal product Tallow.

Tallow is a hard, fatty substance made from rendered animal fat, which is commonly used to make soap and candles.

Additional Information

As vegans, vegetarians, muslims, Hindus and people of planet earth, please sign!! This beyond ricidlous we have to stop using animals as an alternative to plastic or paper!! We can go noteless!!

The new polymer notes use beef tallow made from suet, which is hard fat found around an animal’s kidneys, stomach and other organs.
