Convert to Additional Member Electoral System

Additional Information

First past the post is, by itself, largely unfair and misconstrues the wider public opinion, and therefore, democracy.

However, proportional representation is also with faults.

It is to this end that a hybrid system should be adopted. 450 seats elected with a plurality system (such as FPTP, though a majority version such as AV or instant run-off would be preferable) and 200 seats allocated proportionately when viewing the percentage of votes each party accrued nationwide.

Strong governments and regional representation with an element of fairness and true democracy.
