Petition Action

Change the law on malicious, false reports to NSPCC

Petition Details

Anyone can contact NSPCC make up lies and this will be taken seriously.

The NSPCC refuse to place a warning at the start of a report to warn that malicious acts will result in legal action.

They refuse to chase up these reports once proven to be lies. This needs to change.

Additional Information

In December I was the subject of a vile, malicious report to NSPCC. They forwarded this false report to social services who spent time investigating. This report was total fallacy, all professionals were disgusted and relayed that I'm a great mum.

NSPCC refuse to place a warning about making these calls and protect the rights of the "informant" over the innocent families.

We need:

> laws to change with regards to malicious, false reports.

> a deterrent to prevent this type of report.
