Replacement for the "John Lewis list"
Given the austerity measures the Government expects citizens to accept, will the house similarly accept they need to do the same.
I propose that the "John Lewis list" be replaced with more mainstream vendors - namely to be restricted to ordering items from non-premium high-street catalogue based vendors.
This will ensure ministerial purchases are in line with the spending capabilities of the general public.
