Petition Action

Provide better after-risk support & guidance for people fleeing domestic abuse

Petition Details

Parents & children are left abandoned by charities & organisations once they have made that step out of domestic abuse and are out of immediate risk! Something needs to be done, better rules that exempt them from the laws of housing lists & some way to make building a new life more bearable.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

This petition seems to be calling on charities and other organisations to act, not the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to support people who have escaped domestic abuse.
