Start a voluntary emigration programme for people who want to leave the UK.
I am sick and tired of living in a small country with an ever increasing population and lack of government investment in jobs, housing, opportunities, transport, healthcare and poor standard of living.
How this scheme would work:
You would be paid up to £100,000 to give up your British citizenship and passport.
A contract can be signed, so that if someone changes their mind, they will be liable to pay back, the sum of money, if they want to gain back their citizenship. They will also not be able to join the scheme again.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly how you'd like this programme to work. For example, the UK Government wouldn't be able to remove someone's citizenship if doing so would leave them stateless (that is, not a citizen of any country).
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
