The Government must intervene in the proposed GKN takeover
GKN is one of the last bastions of UK high-tech engineering, involved with automotive and defence contracts. Selling would be a threat to national security and, more importantly jobs! Protect our jobs and our future NOW.
Theresa May comes under mounting pressure to block the takeover of British engineering firm GKN
GKN is fighting off an unwanted £7.4billion bid from Melrose
Melrose said it wants to sell the company within three to five years for a profit
It is feared this would see GKN broken up and its parts sold across the world, harming UK industry and defence
