A UK wide once in a generation special Public Holiday to clear the UK of Litter
I would like to propose a once in a generation special public holiday to get everyone outside with recycled bin bags & litter pickers to help clear & tidy up their local areas from the unsightly litter that we all come across from day to day but never have the time to do it. The UK is beautiful!
Since I was a child I always remember thinking why do people throw their litter out of cars or discard it whilst walking. It is something that I really feel strongly about. so what can I do about it? I could spend my time endlessly picking after people. Or better still encourage everyone to do it!
