Stop the planned "pornography online ID" as it imposes on our human rights
The upcoming planned "ban" on adult content online in the UK is nothing other than big brother trying to track our data.
Claiming it is for the "good of the children", the Government plans to take age verification on adult sites to the next level by asking us to prove we are over 18 with real ID.
Whilst preventing children from being exposed to adult content is a priority, there are already methods that allow parents to block this content. ISPs generally offer a way to do this through their routers/by signing into their online accounts - or you can install software onto your computer.
This means the Government (and websites) can track our internet use, and have the ability to force ISPs to block any website that doesn't comply - censorship of the internet. What will they block next?
