Reduce/Abolish University Tuition Fees
Currently, students in England are leaving university with some of the highest levels of debt in the world. It’s time the British Government join Scotland and most of Europe in making the right decision to abolish (or at least reduce) university tuition fees.
Tuition fees were originally introduced in 1998, requiring students to pay up to £1,000 a year, and were gradually increased over the past 2 decades to a massive £9,000 a year. Abolishing Tuition fees would not only lift immense amounts of debt off the shoulders of our young people, but would also be beneficial for our economy, as there would be more educated workers in our society.
