Increase number of Southeastern trains; provide refunds if cancelled/overcrowded
Since being a Southeastern commuter, starting work 13 yrs ago, little has improved. I get the Hayes train (previously from Hayes, now from Catford Bridge) & the conditions are quite frankly inhumane;delayed arrivals, cancellations, long waits. After Eden Park-mass overcrowding (also at Canada Water)
20/2/18: cancellation of 8.22 Cannon St - created mass overcrowding & most unable to get on next service (8.32) - daily occurrence
Currently there are 5 trains between 8am & 9am from Hayes into London (12-14 station stops) - Gov stats showed that 'in 2016 [alone], 583,000 passengers arrived into central London during
a TYPICAL weekday morning peak.' With fares increasing on a yearly basis, a satisfactory service is simply not being delivered.
We need immediate improvement or fares reduced.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you'd like the Government to do something about Southeastern trains, but we're not sure what specific action you'd like.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Government and Parliament to require train companies to give passengers refunds if trains are cancelled or too overcrowded to board, if that's what you want to happen.
