Clearly label Halal and non-Halal meat and poultry sold in any UK food outlet.
Legislation was passed to reduce animal suffering in UK abattoirs. However, major exemptions were made and the objectives of animal welfare have been - and are increasingly - flouted. People concerned about animal welfare must have the right to discriminate against unnecessary suffering.
