Appreciate people that work, look at overtime tax rate
I do a high amount of overtime hours to try and better myself and to be able to afford certain things, although I already help the economy by paying tax, I don’t see why we have to pay the same rate of tax on my overtime? At least the percentage that goes towards unemployment should be taken off.
People that work get punished and seem to get nothing for helping the economy.
I chose to do overtime as my wages don’t cover the high living expenses and yet get punished by this, giving my money to people, majority speaking, cannot be bothered to work.
My tax on my notional pay should be enough, my overtime should be mine, please lower the tax rate on overtime
