Petition Action

Save tenants thousands during the lifetime of their tenancy.

Petition Details

The proposed tenant fee ban is causing letting agents up and down the country to advise their landlords to increase rents dramatically to absorb the costs of the tenant fee ban

Additional Information

This means, a tenant pairing £500 a month in rent may be forced to pay more than £40 per month in rent to cover the letting agents' costs for providing their service to tenants.

This will cover our tenant fee of £400 in ten months, meaning tenants will pay an extra £80 on top of our fees. If they spend ten years in the property, they will have spent £800 extra just because the government want to ban fees.

Think of the tenants...
