Label all meat as stunned or not stunned prior to slaughter.
Animals are frequently cruelly slaughtered (e.g. Halal and Kosher) without first being stunned. Consumers should have labelling which gives them choice.
Approximately 3.3m Muslims living in Britain who demand Halal meat but we have no labelling to determine which is and which is not Halal.
