Make mandatory the vaccination of children.
The absence of vaccinations for young children is a serious threat to both the child in question and others around him or her. Not vaccinating poses a risk of serious infection and transmission of contagious diseases. Vaccinations do not have serious long term effects or any health risks.
Mandatory vaccination laws are already being introduced in other European nations such as Italy. The introduction of such a law would save many lives. Vaccinations proposed to be compulsory would include, but not be limited to, those against tetanus, measles, and hepatitis B.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure which vaccinations you'd like to be required. We're also not sure whether you'd like all parents to be required by law to vaccinate their children, or if you would like this to be made a requirement before a child can be enrolled in a school (which is what has happened in Italy).
You may wish to sign this petition:

Otherwise, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
