Presumed consent for organ donation
Over 90% of people are happy for their organs to be donated if they are killed. Only a fraction have signed up to the organ donors register. To save lives, improve public health and reduce bureaucracy for the NHS, the situation should be reversed. If you do not want your organs to be donated, the onus should be on you to sign the register.
This law would cost nothing to enact and would do a great deal of good for the nation.
