Reform the law on incarcerating drug addicts, introducing harm reduction clinics
The 'Harm Reduction' drug policy used in Switzerland in the 1980's has had a range of positive impacts on addicts, and should be used in the UK.Two-Thirds of the addicts who entered the harm-reduction clinics found full time jobs as they did not spend their time and money financing their addiction.

The benefits that addicts can receive from the harm reduction strategy hugely outweighs the 'positives' brought by the more traditional, hard-line policy that punishes and incarcerates addicts which inevitably worsens their addiction and leaves them stripped of opportunities when released.
