Give free child care for 2 year olds to workers working less than 16 hours
I work just short of 16 hours and my partner works full time, I have tried time and again to get help towards nursery fees and all I get back is “you have to work 16 hours or more to get 70% paid for you” yet I know parents with 2 year olds not working Getting the nursery completely paid for.
People who work on a zero hour contract or work less than 16 hours do not get any help towards child care costs it comes out of their own pockets, people who do not work get free child care for 2 year olds when they are capable of keeping their child at home with them.
