Changes to rape laws in the UK

Petition Details

This is a petition to campaign towards better laws against rape where the victims cannot be blamed. It is a campaign in order to gain laws where the victims are never called liars and only sexual history with the alleged offender can be used.

Additional Information

In the UK it is predicted that every 1 in 5 people face sexual harassment in their lifetime. It’s increasing rapidly and we are all turning a blind eye. Women and men, young and old are being abused and we turn a blind eye? If you have any humanity or empathy in you please sign this petition and create a world where boys can no longer be boys and girls are never made to feel ashamed or have to face these vile human beings.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what changes you'd like to see to the law on rape.
