Democratize the City of London Corporation.
The City of London Corporation should be elected by a democratic process in which only the votes of actual residents, not corporations, are counted. Furthermore, rules for standing for election should be no more restrictive than in any other local council and the Lord Mayor should not be required or expected to donate personal funds to the running of the corporation or any other aspect of ongoing with the City of London corporation, except his or her own personal upkeep, as appropriate.
