UK Children in need should have funding for free school meals.
Re. parliament vote 13/3/18 about funding for for free school meals, and that from 1st April children in Year 3 & above on Universal credit will no longer be eligible if their parents earn more than £7,400.
1.1 million will lose free school meals which is shocking. For some of these children in poverty it is their only decent meal of the day. I am dismayed that the Government voted against this as well.
