Ban Standing Charges on all Energy and Water Bills

Petition Details

Standing Charges on Gas, Electricity and Water, bills are an unfair charge, and have no real basis on the amount of Energy or water used.
The standing charge is just another way for the Energy and Water Companies to unjustly increase their profits.

Additional Information

SSE charge £24.53 plus 5% VAT = £26.98 on both Gas and Electricity,
For a dual fuel set up that adds £53.98 per quarter to the consumers bill, absolutely no real justification for this type of rip off.
