Make all companies provide an e mail address as a point of contact
Received a letter from Sky and tried to ring this morning - automated service had no option to cancel for my reason! - cut off, tried chat, more than half an hour no one came on to chat - at least an hour of my time wasted! I have a life!
This issue does not just apply to Sky it applies to many big companies, people do not have the time to hang on phone lines for lengthy times due to insufficient staff, or to wait to speak to customer service on line. Often the problem could be put in an e mail and sent, then the customer just waits for a reply instead of getting frustrated and angry waiting on phone lines.
