Petition Details

I believe that the wording of disabled toilets should be changed to accessible toilets once we leave the European Union in 2019 and this is because we will be an independent country that I believe would be leading the way on the inclusive front by making this sufficient change

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

As far as we know, there's no EU law that says that a toilet has to be described as a "disabled" toilet.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for a specific change to the regulations for accessible toilets.
