Remove the 1% cap on teachers pay rise to bring in line with the NHS/inflation

Following on from the announcement of the NHS 6% pay rise I believe it is time for the government to consider the current pay freeze on the profession who will ensure that we produce these NHS staff... TEACHERS

It’s time to value teachers just as much as other public sector workers.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could call for teachers' pay to be increased by 6%, in line with the pay rise for NHS staff.
