human rights act for prisoners.
As Cameron keeps reminding us, we are all in it together and to get out of this financial mess we all need to do our part...This should include prisoners.
I work a skilled job but im poor, only have one or two meals a day to try and keep on top of my bills, so its sad to think that if i were in prison, fair enough i would loose some freedom but i would have a higher standard of life, be better fed, have a guaranteed roof over my head and more.
Prisoners often claim that there human rights are being infringed, if thats the case then so are mine, and much worst than the prisoners.
i suggest a "Human Rights Act for Prisoners" which guarantees some rights and protection, but which accepts the fact that they are prisoners, and there to be punished, By having a "Human Rights Act for Prisoners" it would show that action is also being taken to ensure people know that prison is punishment and reduce the cost per inmate, the inmates would also be, to quote cameron, "playing there part"
