Stop insurance companies from penalising innocent policyholders.
In 2017 a woman driving a car up our street hit another car and then drove into our front garden wall and also damaging our parked car that was on our drive. In 2018 we received our insurance renewal for our 2nd car and advised this had increased as we had submitted a 'No Fault' claim.
This no fault claim was on an entirely different car (the one on our drive that had been damaged in 2017) and also the claim had been made in my wife's' name as she is the lead policyholder on that car. The police attended the incident and can provide whatever statements are needed to prove that as policyholders neither myself, my wife or any other named driver on our policies were in any way accountable for the accident. Policyholders who are NOT at fault should NOT be penalised.
