Allow MPs a free vote on whether to accept or reject the final Brexit deal
Brexit is the single biggest decision this country has taken in over a generation.
It is essential the national interest comes first and not party politics. MPs must not be bound by political parties and vote with their conscience.
MPs should be allowed a free vote on the final deal.
A free vote allows MPs to vote with their conscience, free from party politics. It allows them to vote for what is best for the country and not what is best for their political party. A free vote strengthens the democratic process
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Giving MPs a free vote is not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament.
Decisions about whipping are the responsibility of the political parties, not the UK Government or Parliament.
