To expel from the UK journalists from Russian media outlets RT & Sputnik

Petition Details

RT (formerly known as Russia Today) and Sputnik are Russian state-controlled media platforms.
As they are state-controlled, and do not represent the values or norms of a free press, we the undersigned request Her Majesty's Government to withdraw formal press accreditation from these organisations.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament don't accredit journalists working in the UK. The UK Press Card Authority Ltd runs a voluntary press accreditation scheme. You can find out more about them here:
