For government to fully fund Citizens Advice, help the vulnerable in society
Many vunerable people are seeking help every day. But voluntary organisations are closing and people are finding it harder to find help. Citizens Advice is only place left, but over the years core funding as been cut and other funding also. Although volunteer are still there funding for specialist
Staffordshire has lost 2/3 of specialist advisers and buildings are crumbling around us. We have been giving advise for over a 100 years, to those people who need help. These include homeless, Mental health, debts, Benefits, employment and consumers. To allow the CA no alternative but to reduce specialist help to these people, will increase poverty and create problems for all future governments to come

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure what you mean by "fully fund". If you'd like the Government to give more money to Citizens Advice, you could start a petition about that.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
