Block facebook.com until Mark Zuckerberg gives evidence to CommonsCMS

Petition Details

The Digital, Culture, Media & Sport Committee recently asked Mark Zuckerberg to come and give evidence about Facebook's involvement with Cambridge Analytica. He refused to come.

Please pass a Commons motion saying that the Government should ask the High Court to block facebook.com until he comes.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. It would be up to a court to decide whether a website should be blocked. The courts are independent of the Government and Parliament.
