Award a posthumous Knighthood to Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking has been constantly overlooked for an award on the Queen’s Birthday and New Year Honours lists and it is about time that he receives the award that he so richly deserved.
Stephen Hawking has been a true inspiration to millions of people and children globally, through his courage, personal determination and persistence and inspired people through his brilliance and humour. He was a true visionary, leader, teacher and inspiration who has brought science into popular culture and into the foreground of the thoughts of countless millions of people. His legacy will live on along with the other greats such as Newton, Gallileo, Davey, Rutherford, Einstein, etc.
