Free Prescriptions for all under 25s in full time education
It is currently free for full time students aged 18 and under to get prescription medication. I’ve just turned 19 and will now have to pay for my medication whilst being a full time university student, so it may become that I cannot afford it every month and forfeit my health due to financial issues
Many students may not see their gp due to this. I think that a valid student ID should give exemption to paying for prescriptions when being a first time student. The age limit needs raising from 18 to 25 to account for this.
