Petition Action

Stop giving points to unlicensed drivers

Additional Information

There is no incentive to drive legally when your licence may be full of points when you pass your test.

instead the courts should impose an automatic £250 fine for every point in addition to any other fines imposed.

In addition drivers without insurance should receive a £1000 fine again in addition to any other penalty the court might impose.

Any vehicle being driven illegally on the roads should be seized witbout the ability to be reclaimed by a third party.

If any fines remain outstanding after three months bailiffs should seize property to the value of the debt.
