Soften the entry requirements for the armed forces to tackle recruitment crisis

Petition Details

Currently we have a number of worthless entry requirements which stop perfectly good soldiers from joining the armed forces.

Additional Information

We hear of cases where someone a minor case of Asthma when there were 5 or had medical attendance once in there younger life and this stops them from joining, in some cases clear for at least 10 years.

We also have cases of a high eyesight prescription level being stopped from joining, we agree there should be limits theses limits need to be soften or we will never end this recruitment crisis we find ourselves in. We have perfectly good soldiers out there who can't apply even the current levels
