UK should say NO to military action in Syria.
We should not support America in their plans to start military action in Syria. The Syrian war has already stolen the childhood of millions of children. One third of schools in Syria are not in use(Unicef).
We should support the ongoing crisis in Syria by adopting an anti-war and pro-life approach.
Current situation and future implications
Over half of the country’s population have been displaced since the war has started in 2011(BBC).
The UN estimates that 13.1 million people will require some form of humanitarian help in Syria in 2018 (BBC).
One of the main reasons proposed for the UK leaving the EU was so that we can control migration. Whose responsibility will it be for resettlement of the entire population of a country, which will doubtlessly become uninhabitable due to our actions?
